- Q: What was your worst buy?
- Jenson Button: I bought some see-through shoes. For some reasons I thought that they would look really cool. They were plastic and completely see through. You put them on and could see your feet. That was pretty disgusting. I gave them to a friend.
“…and beaten by Jenson for not wearing a tie but that’s alright, i’ll do that when i’m 30+.”
I want to marry drunk Sebastian Vettel. The best drunk person ever.

What Formula One 2011 taught me part one
Sebastian Vettel: He has had a dream season, broke a stupid amount of records, become the youngest double world champion. It’s been a blur for everyone in the sport
Mark Webber: He’s had team orders used against him this season, always been second best to Sebastian, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a good driver. Everyone respects him hugely.
Lewis Hamilton: Lewis has had such a bad season, but instead of just caving in and falling, he is fighting against all the bad things pushing him back, trying to get back up to the top again.
Jenson Button: Last to first in Canada. Nothing short of a godly performance. Stunning.
Fernando Alonso: Firstly, after Robert Kubicas accident, he was the first driver out there to see him, secondly, his kindness towards Lewis. I know they have never seen eye to eye, but this year, he has seemed to make much more of an effort with him to get along, and we even saw hugging and joking at Jenson Button’s 200th Grand Prix party. It showed that he does care.
Felipe Massa: After his awful accident in Hungary, to come back and still be near his old form is a remarkable feat. He got knocked down lots last year, but he has still picked himself up and fought on.
Formula One driver tributes to Dan Wheldon
- Lewis Hamilton: This is an extremely sad day. Dan was a racer I’d followed throughout my career, as I often followed in his footsteps as we climbed the motorsport ladder in the UK. He was an extremely talented driver. As a British guy, who not only went over to the States but who twice won the Indy 500, this is a tragic loss at such a young age. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this extremely difficult time. #DanWheldon.
- Jenson Button: Just woken up to the most horrific news.. Dan Wheldon RIP. I have so many good memories of racing with Dan in the early 90's, a true fighter. We've lost a legend in our sport but also a great guy. I can't begin to imagine what his family are going through and my thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.
- Rubens Barrichello: Just got out from the plane and got the terrible news about the death of our friend #DanWheldon. Will always remember the great times we had at karting in Brazil my friend. Rest in peace #DanWheldon
- Karun Chandok: just bumped into [Mark Webber] in singapore airport who told me the shocking news about dan wheldon... thoughts & prayers go out to his family
- Sergio Perez: How sad to hear the news of Dan Weldon! :( is sad when it happens to a partner! Please ask love for his family 2 left babies
- Narain Karthikeyan: A sad day for motorsport - amidst all of its easy to forget that hazards of motor-racing still exist. RIP Dan Wheldon
- Pedro De La Rosa: Our thoughts go to Dan Wheldon's family. Can not imagine what they are going through. Always on our mind.
- Pastor Maldonado: Sorry about Wheldon, we have to work and increasing safety on the slopes, especially on the ovals.
- Sebastien Buemi: RIP Dan Wheldon. Very sad to read the news! Sad day for the whole motorsport family!
- Paul Di Resta: Very sad news that a great racer died. Rest in peace Dan. Thoughts are with your family.
